Educating Girls & Empowering Teenage Mothers

Changing the narrative β€” one girl, one mother, one future at a time

    Girl Child Education

At Intercontinental Child & Charity Organization (ICCO), we believe that investing in girls and teenage mothers transforms families, communities, and nations.

Across underserved communities, young girls are often denied the right to learn, dream, and lead. Teenage mothers are pushed to the margins, shamed, and forgotten. We’re here to change that.

    Back-to-School Support

Scholarships, school re-enrollment, and mentoring for girls & young moms returning to school.

    Health & Hygiene Access

Education on reproductive health, free sanitary kits, prenatal support, and mental health counseling.

    Vocational Training

Equipping teenage mothers with skills and tools for self-reliance, dignity, and financial freedom.

    Focusing On What Matters

    Girls Education Financial Support

We work in a context where families struggling to provide regular meals often can’t afford to send their girls to school. ICCO provides targeted financial support covering tuition, uniforms, and other essential school costs.

Free Health-Care Needs & Elderly Support

This project offers free medical care, clothing, and recreation for elderly persons in need. We provide nutritious meals to destitute elders neglected by their families β€” ensuring they receive dignity, love, and care.

    Creating Opportunities & Wealth

The ICCO Youth Empowerment initiative partners with private support groups, NGOs, and the corporate sector to develop pathways for employment, skills training, and entrepreneurship for Awori youth.

Our mission is to uplift and empower Ghanaian youth and teenage mothers by providing practical skills, opportunities, and the tools they need to succeed.

By nurturing talent and fostering creativity, we aim to transform lives and create stronger, self-reliant communities.

    The Challenges

    • Increasing crime rates due to unemployment.
    • Untapped potential among youth lacking training access.
    • High cost of vocational and technical education.
    • Disproportionate impact on young women and girls.

    The Solutions

    • Train 2,000 youths in high-demand vocational trades.
    • Offer skills like bead making, CCTV installation, tailoring, cosmetics production, photography, catering, and more.
    • Provide each graduate with tools to start their business.
    • Adopt a "train-the-trainer" model for multiplying impact.

These initiatives aim to turn our youth into job creators, driving sustainable growth within our communities.
